School Interventions

Managing students in the classroom often places a heavy burden on the teacher who has limited time and few resources at her disposal.

As a result, it is often the case that children who are frequently off task become the focus of disciplinary measures, which over time, erodes that child’s confidence and self esteem. In addition, the teacher may have to repeatedly interrupt the class session in order to redirect that child which is not fair to the other students in the classroom.

Sometimes the child primarily receives some form of punishment while on-task performance is not as frequently reinforced. This can lead to a downward cycle of low self-expectations leading to a negative attitude toward school and learning.

To address this issue we have developed a revolutionary product called:

Many parents report having left a meeting at their child’s school without a clear understanding as to what exactly the school personnel are doing to address their child’s academic difficulties. In more unfortunate cases, parents have been attending such meetings for years without any apparent gain in their child’s performance.

Sometimes this is because the school might not fully understand the nature of your child’s difficulties or attribute his problems to “laziness” or “lack of motivation”. This is a common misunderstanding on the part of school personnel which may lead to unintended but nevertheless undesirable consequences for your child’s academic development. Sometimes we are called to attend these meetings by parents, sometimes by the school. Our goal is to bring the resources of the school together with those of the parents to design a results-oriented academic and/or a behavioral program. Let’s get your child on track as soon as possible and not waste any more time!
